The Partnership Consultant role involves driving awareness and adoption of Chancen’s ISA products by engaging with decision-makers at educational institutions and leveraging both in-person and online marketing strategies. Responsibilities include building relationships, generating leads, negotiating partnerships, and collaborating with influencers, media outlets, and key stakeholders in the education sector. Additionally, the role includes creating tailored proposals, representing Chancen at events, and monitoring the success of outreach and marketing efforts to ensure continuous growth and impact.
Roles, Responsibilities, and Duties
- Market ISA Products: Raise awareness of Chancen’s ISA products through in-person visits to educational institutions and via online marketing channels (social media, email campaigns, webinars, etc.).
- Engage with Decision Makers: Develop relationships with decision-makers (Deans, directors, financial officers) at tertiary education institutions, presenting ISAs as a solution for expanding access to education.
- Lead Generation & Relationship Building: Identify and engage with key institutions, cultivate leads, and maintain long-term partnerships from first contact to contract closure.
- Online Marketing: Work with our marketing team to promote Chancen’s ISA products, reaching a wider audience and generating new leads.
- Build Influencer Networks: Identify and engage influencers in the education sector and build partnerships with them to promote ISA products.
- Leverage Media Relationships: Establish and maintain connections with media outlets (radio, TV, blogs, etc.) to secure coverage for Chancen’s ISA products and related initiatives.
- Proposals and Concept Notes: Create and present tailored proposals and concept notes that align Chancen’s offerings with the goals and needs of educational institutions.
- Close Deals: Lead negotiations to finalize partnerships with schools, ensuring clear communication about the product benefits and implementation.
- Collaborate Across the Education Ecosystem: Liaise with educational authorities, regulators, employers and sector organizations to promote the adoption of ISAs and contribute to the growth of the education financing sector.
- Represent Chancen at Events: Participate in education fairs, conferences, and webinars, acting as an ambassador for Chancen’s mission to broaden access to education through innovative financing.
- Monitor and Report: Track outreach efforts and online campaign success, providing reports on progress, leads, and insights from the field.
Educational Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales, or a similar role.
- Experience working in or with tertiary education institutions or financial institutions and a strong network in this space
- Proven ability to build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in education.
- Success in closing deals and managing partnerships with educational institutions is also an added advantage
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to go the extra mile to achieve project objectives and contribute to organizational success.
