Vacancy for experienced Warehouse and Inventory Control Officer

Job Title:    Warehouse and Inventory Control Officer

Camp:        CCL/LCC/FCC

Reports To:  Logistics and Procurement Manager

Location:      Manyara, vilima vitatu, Babati.

Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the logistics department. Assisting in the daily warehouse management, inventory control, requesting quotes, purchasing, sales, transfers and liaison with all company suppliers. Strong focus on optimizing the inventory accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  1. Ensure all items for ALL departments purchased – recorded in the Inflow System
  2. Update and maintain ALL departments products list and pricing on Inflow System
  3. Communicate all stock issues to store employee
  4. Ensure transfer procedures are adhered to and kept in place
  5. Store rooms are kept neat and tidy, follow FIFO system
  6. Ensure issue control procedures are adhered to and kept in place
  7. Query and investigate all stock discrepancies and over and under orders – communicate to Logistics Manager.
  8. Initiate modifications and further developments to storekeeping systems when and where necessary
  9. Monthly stock valuation and stock movement reports
  10. Receive goods, check against purchase order and invoice/delivery note, ensure acceptable condition of goods
  11. Communicate all out of stock or unavailable stock items to management
  12. Fill out asset form for all new items purchased, save copy to Dropbox and send to Operations Manager
  13. Collaborate with the purchasing department to reorder supplies and manage lead times to prevent stockouts.
  14. Monitor expiration dates of perishable goods and ensure that older stock is used first.
  15. Maintain proper documentation of all inventory-related activities, including receipts, usage logs, and disposal records.
  16. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  17. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  18. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience.

Bachelor’s or University degree in procurement and supply, Business Administration or relevant field

Must be able to organize and manage large workloads and project priorities successfully.

Strong personality and strong leadership skill, can grow a back up to management position

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Certification in inventory management is a nice to have

Experience working in Hospitality industry is and added advantage

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.

Experience level: 2 to 5 years
