Application Process

The application process involves three rounds: this form, short-listed working tasks that are similar to what your day-to-day responsibilities would look like, and an interview. Please note that the interview is weighted less than the short-listed tasks. We primarily want to see how you think, analyse and solve problems.

 

Job Description

  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track stock movements, verify product dispatches, and address any discrepancies (e.g., damages or shortages).
  • Procurement: Coordinate and oversee office and operational purchases for multiple companies, ensuring timely approvals and availability of essential items.
  • Administration: Ensure smooth office operations, including maintenance, cleaning, and procurement of supplies.
  • Sales Coordination: Process customer orders, issue invoices, track deliveries, follow up on payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Import/Export Support: Manage documentation, coordinate transportation of imported goods and exported honey drums, ensure timely payments and document sending to customers, and assist with import/export logistics in collaboration with relevant departments.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any business-related or equivalent field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confident internet usage
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and partner
  • Fluency in English and Swahili
  • Previous knowledge on import and export procedures is beneficial
  • Experience in liaising with different partners e.g. clearing agents, transport officers, government officials is a plus
  • Extensive and varied experience with an understanding of the organization and the business
  • Must be hardworking and ready to work
