Job Description:
- Familiar with the relevant laws and regulations of manufacturing industry in Kenya and East African countries and the internal system of enterprises, and provide legal consultation and risk control advice for enterprises;
- Familiar with the company law and commercial law of Kenya and East African countries, draft and review various contracts and agreements of the company, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the enterprise, and assist the leader in dealing with contract disputes;
- Familiarize themselves with labor laws of Kenya and East African countries, assist in handling labor disputes and related complaints of enterprises, maintain the image and policy implementation of enterprises;
- Assist in handling legal issues related to litigation cases, assist enterprises in carrying out litigation activities, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises;
- Assist the legal department leaders in providing legal training for company employees;
- Assist the legal department leaders in legal supervision and guidance for departments involved in legal issues within the enterprise;
- Be able to travel when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree or above in law, with legal qualification certificate is preferred
- Have a solid legal foundation, familiar with manufacturing related laws, and have working experience in cement industry is preferred
- Strong communication, coordination and problem solving skills, able to respond quickly to new problems and requirements
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, execution ability and team spirit, have a good working attitude and professional ethics
