What you’ll doRole purpose:
To plan, supervise and control deployment of all Network Programs and Projects ensuring timely and efficient execution of such projects. The role must ensure synergies by managing all major internal and external stakeholders including vendors, suppliers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered on time, within approved budget limits, aligned with design & quality specifications as well as smooth handover to the user department
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
- Project Planning: Translate site rollout, network expansion and other technical budgetary plans into specific, realistic and executable project plans with clearly identified milestones, deliverables and timelines for all stakeholders.
- Project Tracking: Driving, documentation and reporting the efforts and activities performed by all project stakeholders to ensure alignment with key milestones, deliverables and timelines. Entails regular supervision, audits and quality control checks at pre-identified project milestones.
- Project Management: Apply appropriate Project Management Methodologies to scope technical projects, allocate resources, control, monitor the project lifecycle and handover technical projects with minimum possible deviation from technical specifications, financial targets and execution plan.
- Procurement of Goods & Services: Ensure timely preparation of work scopes and placement of orders for goods & services, tracking approval of orders, delivery of goods & services, invoicing and payment for goods and services as per agreed / contractual terms and conditions
- Property Closure: Ensure comprehensive acceptance testing, preparation of as-built documentation and transfer of CWIP to fixed Assets register Core

Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- University Degree in Electrical / Telecommunication / Structural Engineering
- Project Management & Methodologies
- Mobile telecommunications network architectures, Planning & Operations processes
