1. Fleet Manager (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Profit Centre head for the Logistics Department.
  • Oversee the daily operations of a fleet of 50-100 trucks.
  • Develop strategies to optimize fleet performance, reduce downtime, and improve fuel efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Finished Goods (FG) and Raw Material (RM) stores, drivers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise fleet maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Track vehicles in real-time and report exceptions to the Fleet Manager.
  • Maintain trip records and provide support for emergencies and transit issues.
  • Assist in driver and helper recruitment and manage fleet operations’ budget.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or fleet management.
  • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager, preferably handling 50+ vehicles.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and fleet tracking tools.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferably with a heavy vehicle endorsement).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management software.
  • Understanding of Tanzanian road safety laws and regulations.

2. Logistics Officer (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor truck trips as per the logistics plan.
  • Track fleet performance and provide regular reports to management.
  • Assist in preparing daily delivery and exception reports.
  • Coordinate logistics between drivers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Support management in maximizing revenue through return loads.

Qualifications:

  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Experience in logistics or fleet management.
  • Ability to work with logistics software and tracking systems.

3. Workshop Foreman (Fleet Maintenance & Upkeep) (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring timely maintenance of fleet vehicles.
  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians.
  • Ensure safety compliance and continuous improvement in fleet maintenance.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
  • Monitor fleet repair costs and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of truck maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in fleet upkeep and maintenance.
