LEGAL OFFICER
Responsible for ensuring the organization operates within legal frameworks, safeguarding its rights and interests while providing expert legal advice, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Qualifications : A degree in Law or a relevant field (or equivalent) is required, along with certifications and membership in professional organizations (e.g, School of Law). Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a legal setting.
Responsibilities
• Legal Advisory Services: Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with laws, analyze risks, and propose solutions to minimize liabilities.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Monitor regulatory changes, advise management, and ensure compliance with legal obligations.
• Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Represent the organization in legal proceedings and manage external counsel for litigation matters.
• Corporate Governance: Support the board and senior management in governance matters and ensure timely submission of statutory
documents.
