    JOB PURPOSE

    Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  The Site SHE coordinator is responsible for the management of Safety, Health & Environment improvement activities to achieve excellence at the site for both employees, contractors and third party partners -logistics.   S/he works with site Supply Chain teams to develop and implement systems to reduce occupational health, safety, and environmental risks, ensuring compliance with Unilever’s policies and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement towards zero harm.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • Conduct trend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behavior observations and deep compliance audits
    • Ensure the implementation of safety and compliance at Partners (Logistics) and site locations
    • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual safety updates to leadership.
    • Support the safety pillar and Environment pillar in accordance to UMS
    • Drive safety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls
    • In coordination with SHE Manager plan the H&S activities, defining the measures required to be implemented on site, in accordance with the legislation, internal policies and OHS Plan.
    • Complete safety assessment checklists and develop recommended risk mitigation measures with some guidance from SHE Manager.
    • Coordinate the Implementation of the annual SHE Training plan
    • Support compliance to the permit to work system- capability building and governance
    • Warehouse safety plan implementation
    • Roll out the safe travel program to internal employees and 3rd parties
    • Verify with local authorities the conformity with the regulations, the mandatory licenses, and reports.
    • Verify the existence and validity of the mandatory H&S documentation of the Subcontractors and all the workers on site;
    • Promote the Health and Safety culture among all the workers, disseminating awareness campaigns, making Induction Trainings, Tool-box-Trainings and Emergency Drill Exercises.
    • Distribute and/or verify the use of the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and their condition.
    • Perform internal H&S inspections and audits, collecting evidences and reporting incidents and non-conformities, searching for continuous improvements of the processes;
    • Collect and report periodically the data needed for the H&S KPIs calculations and monitoring;
    • Act as a primary or secondary responder to safety incidents involving all staff during office hours, and escalating incident response management to SHE & Site leadership when necessary
    • Provide First-aid assistance in case of accidents
    • Take the necessary measures to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene on the site, preventing and taking care of any possible illness situation affecting employees .
    • Participate in emergency and fire-fighting teams in accordance with the specific plans.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • University degree in Engineering/ Safety, Environmental or Risk Management or equivalent technical degrees.
    • 3 - 5 years experience in SHE Operations
    • Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
    • Experience in regulatory environment (ie OSHA act 2007), International SHE management & Process Safety
    • Working knowledge using all SHE IT tools and how those tools integrate into other functional work processes

    JOB PURPOSE

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • Determine infrastructural requirement of a distributor for a particular territory including working capital required.
    • Determine and prepare distributor sales and KPI targets using the Joint Business Plan toolkit.
    • Ensure that working capital is effectively managed by constantly monitoring stocks, debtors and cash positions to meet the right norms.
    • Build excellent relationships at KD and at POP level   
    • Set up the distributor team by recruiting the right skills, right numbers and training through field coaching to deliver assigned targets.
    • Set targets for all distributor team and review performance constantly through market floor meetings to ensure target achievement.
    • Ensure that KD is profitable by using the ROI toolkit to monitor income and expenditure and report on monthly actions to improve.
    • Ensure weekly submission of KD extracts used in raising orders for the KDs
    • Prepare beat plans for KD sales team to ensure effective & efficient coverage of assigned territory with all product categories
    • Prospects, negotiates and initiates local actions in line with company policies
    • Ensure the availability of the right product assortment at the right channel at the right price.
    • Ensure achievement of the Field capability score by meeting targets for coverage, lines per call and bill productivity
    • Building capability of distributor sales team through full day sales accompaniment and field coaching.
    • Submission of weekly and monthly reports – weekly sales report, ROI and profitability report, working capital analysis report and safety reports.

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • At least 3 years Sales experience with minimum 2 years in FMCG environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in business management or economics
    • Strong excel skills & analytical skills
