1. Constable (Konstebo) – Entry LevelEligibility Criteria:- Must have completed Form Four (Certificate of Secondary Education – CSEE)
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth
- Must have a birth certificate
- Must possess a National Identification Card (NIDA) or NIDA number
- Must be physically and mentally fit
- No criminal record
- Must be single (not married)
- No tattoos on the body
- Must have never used drugs
- Must be ready to attend Fire and Rescue Training
- Must have never been employed in the government sector
- Minimum height:
- Men: 5.7 feet
- Women: 5.4 feet
- Must be ready to cover their own interview and recruitment costs
- Age: 18-25 years
For candidates with Form Four or Form Six qualifications who also possess additional technical skills, the following fields are open for applications:
- Heavy Vehicle Drivers
- Plumbing Technicians
- Nursing
- Fire and Rescue Specialists

- Helicopter Pilots
- Must meet all general Constable requirements
- Helicopter Pilots: Age limit 18-35 years
- Drivers: Must have a Class E driving license, with an age limit of 18-28 years
- Drivers will undergo a practical test to verify their driving skills
