As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will:

  •  Monitor and ensure timely deliveries of inbound and outbound freight.
  •  Coordinate the movement of containers from UK ports to 3PL warehouses, liaising with hauliers and ports as needed.
  •  Resolve inbound shipment issues to ensure timely container releases.
  •  Oversee the booking, payment, and delivery of containers to warehouses.
  •  Manage parcel carriers, ensuring on-time delivery and effective issue resolution.
  •  Review and approve invoices from parcel carriers for accuracy.
  •  Work with 3PL providers and Customer Service teams to address logistics-related queries.
  •  Track vendor KPIs and ensure service levels align with expectations.
  •  Support the warehouse team during holiday cover, including creating shipping labels and following up on order dispatches.
  •  Maintain the non-conformance log, documenting and resolving transit damages.
  •  Correct exchange rates and update shipping costs in the OrderWise system.
  • Handle any additional tasks assigned by your Line Manager within your scope of work.

Qualifications:

  •  A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  At least 2-3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics coordination, preferably in a similar role.
  •  Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  •  Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  •  Proficiency with supply chain systems (experience with OrderWise is a plus).
  •  Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  •  The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to tackling challenges.
