Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in card payment technologies and solutions to enable the design and development of high-quality solutions that are scalable, secure, and stable.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to analyze product requirements and design best-fit architectures and solutions, guided by KCB group policies and industry best practices and standards.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions and card payments technologies to support new and existing business opportunities in Issuing, Acquiring, and Payments processing.
- Accountable for the timely agile delivery of high-quality solutions and providing endto-end life cycle support.
- Manage the timely and accurate execution of host certifications, white plastic certifications, digital wallets certifications and terminal certifications as mandated by the bank and payment schemes.
- Support the fulfilment of periodic enhancement releases from Visa, MasterCard, UPI, and JCB, to ensure compliance with mandates and industry standards.
- Collaborate with Technology Risk and Security teams to ensure that applications are well secured as per the bank’s Technology Security policies and standards.
- Provide 3rd level support to application support teams in resolving incidents.
- Performing technical evaluations of new technology products or suggesting changes/enhancements to existing products/environments to fulfill business needs.
- Collaboration with vendor partners for integration of partner development activities within the project timeline..
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or a Technical or related field of study.
- Certifications in either Card, POS, eCommerce & Agency Banking related technologies.
- 5 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
- 3 years strong fundamental knowledge in Card, POS, eCommerce and Agency Banking Systems.
- 3 years’ experience working with RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB etc.
- 3 years Linux systems administration.
