Reporting to: Capital Project Superintendent
Duration: Permanent
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment Monitoring:
- Responsible for Conceptual designing, project scope preparation and over all coordination during execution of various projects.
- Review & check engineering details and design for various projects.
- Provide supervision for Civil and Structural works equipment installation and commissioning for various projects.
- Prepare Quality Control and Quality Assurance Plan for the project.
- Prepare Project schedule and Carry out tracking
- Conducting review and safety meetings with contractors as per schedule.
- Providing guidance to supervisors for project execution and maintaining safety at site.
- Coordination with contractors for various site permit and approval procedures.
- Manage routine administrative work related to project team and contractors.
- Compile progress and cost reports, review progress and cost to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Managing and coordinating with contractors and Project Team on day to day basis.
- Daily progress review meetings with project team and contractors as per the schedule.
- Potential cost-saving areas and operations while executing projects.
- Zero Incidents free in all capital projects
- All Job safety analyses and Risk assessments are carried out
- Ensuring engineering details and design are as per international standards.
- Timely completion of issuing the enquiries, contract finalization, and placing orders for the bought-out items.
- BGM safety standards are maintained at the project site
- Supervision on to acceptable standard.
- Quality Control plan of all projects.
- Detail designs and drawings based on engineers guideline
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc Civil Engineering / BSc Electrical Engineering or BSc Mechanical Engineering
- Registered with Engineers Registration Board ( Tz ) Ltd
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Experience
- Minimum of 3 ears’ experience in a maintenance leadership role and project management
- Minimum 2 Years in Mining will be added advantage
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Project management
- Valid Tanzanian driving license
- Computer literate in Microsoft Package Applications — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
