POSITION: ACCOUNTANT (1 POST)
LOCATION: Arusha Tanzania
JOB SUMMARY.
Preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Maintaining accurate and update records of financial transactions.
- Recording, classifying and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principal and financial reporting standards.
- Advising and assisting management in the compilation and control of company budget.
- Advising on improvement of financial management system and internal control system.
- Analyzing, vouching and verifying all retirements from the general staff Members and post to the system.
- Record keeping and arrangements for bookkeeping.
- Assist on preparing and filling statutory returns.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers.
- Other duties may assign by supervisor
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting or its equivalent.
- Must have CPA Qualification
- 1-3 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Knowledge of Tax laws and regulations.
- Knowledge in Computer System and Applications, mainly Quick book.

- Good knowledge in office automation tools like excel spreadsheets Communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills Excellent Analytical Skills
- Strong risk and financial analysis skills Being Creative and Proactive
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Independent and objective decisions maker
